The top 5 movies of 2014 (so far)
We have officially approached the halfway point of 2014! There have been many great and not so great films that have released so far, but overall, it's been a great ride. With that being said, here is my top 5 films of 2014 so far. Keep in mind, this is MY opinion. Let's get right into it!
#5: Non-Stop

Full of action and suspense, and a great performance by Liam Neeson, Non-Stop definitely gets the job done. What ends up hurting the film is how unrealistic some of the events were, but overall, it was still fun to watch. Click HERE for the full review.
#4: The Lego Movie

Hilarious every minute throughout, The Lego Movie was absolutely terrific. The animation was beautiful, and voice acting was spot on. Definitely the best animated film so far this year, hands down. Click HERE for the full review.
#3: Captain America - The winter soldier

A sequel that blew the prequel out of the water, Captain America: The Winter Soldier was a blast to watch. You never see the Captain more vicious and gritty than here. The story was awesome, and it kept me entertained every step of the way. Just a side-not, these top 3 movies were really hard to place. They're all so good. Click HERE for the full review.
#2: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
![Picture](/uploads/1/5/5/2/15523112/161886.jpg?260)
It's just as amazing as the name. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 brought everything that made Spider-Man as amazing and awesome as he was in the comics. It's the movie the represents Spider-Man the best, and it does so in an incredible way. Full of web-slinging and action, this movie brings laughs, tears, and fun into one package. #1: X-Men: Days Of Future Past
![Picture](/uploads/1/5/5/2/15523112/8113633.jpg)
It has everything an awesome movie needs to be...well...awesome! It was a joy to watch, beginning to end. It had the elements of action, surprise, thrill, and suspense, all into one film. The story takes you to the past, present, and even future. It keeps you wondering what's going to happen, not allowing you to take your eyes off of the screen for a second. It's the best film of the year, so far. Let's see if that will change...
